Bib pickup : Friday, November 6, 2026, from 9:00am to 9:00pm at the Pont du Gard site (left bank), then on D-Day from 6:00am

Start : 2:00pm – left bank, Vers-Pont-du-Gard (30) – subject to change

Finish : Pont du Gard, right bank

Refreshment stop : 2 aid station along the way + full aid station at the finish line

Cut-off times : 3 cut-off times (eliminatory) will be implemented based on an average speed of 4.7 km/h (see details here)

Minimum age : Born before 31.12.2008

The 18 km is the ideal distance to discover VENI VICI while running. Even non-initiated and occasional runners have their place on this route with a reasonable elevation gain (525m D+) and difficulty level. It’s a good introduction before aiming for longer distances in the following years.

The atmosphere will be set from the outset with a start at the foot of the imposing Pont du Gard on Saturday early afternoon under inevitably Mediterranean sun. It’s hard to find a more magical setting! You’ll take in the best of both the right and left bank sides on a playful, energetic, and verdant route that will introduce you to the finest of the Pont du Gard site and elevate you to overlook the monument listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. An unforgettable experience!

The mapping tool—which we love otherwise—has some difficulty capturing the countless steep climbs that characterize the challenging and dynamic terrain of the Veni Vici. We won’t hold it against them, as the routes drawn in our beautiful Gard scrubland have left many participants bewildered. ]
