LA VENI VICI 2023 REGULATIONS

Before registering, we invite you to familiarize yourself with la VENI VICI regulations here : la Veni Vici 2023 regulation

OPTIONS PROPOSED (DURING YOUR ONLINE REGISTRATION)

Raffle (2€): 2 complete running outfits to win (shoes, shorts and t-shirt, for 1 woman and 1 man offered by our sponsors) worth approximately 250€. All funds raised will be donated to the Fondation Saint-Pierre, a recognized public utility foundation that supports research and innovation projects, as well as prevention and awareness actions for important causes related to children in Occitania.

 

Cancellation insurance: By subscribing to the cancellation insurance offered by “BEticketing” during your online registration, you can get a refund of your bib with a deductible of 20%.

Valid for participants residing anywhere in the world and for any cancellation made up to 72 hours after the event. Please note that the insured person must provide any document or information requested by the insurer to assess the validity of the claim. MEDICAL CERTIFICATE

For participants in running events: as with any sporting competition, you must provide a medical certificate of “non-contraindication to the practice of running or competitive sport” dating back less than one year from the day of the race.

Foreign athletes, even those licensed by an IAAF-affiliated federation, must provide a medical certificate in French (or accompanied by a French translation if written in another language).

For participants in the 27 km Nordic walking race: you must provide a medical certificate of “no contraindication to hiking, Nordic walking, or competitive sports” Dating within a year of the competition date. You can use this medical certificate model :

> For minor runners (under 18 years old on the day of the event) who can participate in the 13 km run at the Pont du Gard site, the presentation of a medical certificate is no longer mandatory. It is replaced by a health questionnaire available here.

> Note that participants in the 13 km hike do not need to provide a medical certificate or license.

 

BUS SHUTTLES

Several paid bus shuttles are available from Pont du Gard and Uzès to allow participants to get to the start of their race, as well as after the race at Pont du Gard for those who wish to return to Uzès:

▶️ FOR THE 72 KM (RUN)
– shuttle Uzès > Nîmes (to get to the start) / €9

The shuttle for the 72 KM race will depart from the Parking du Refuge (Arènes) in Uzès, a few hundred meters from the finish line. Shuttle departure on Saturday morning between 6:30 am and 6:45 am, heading to Jardins de la Fontaine in Nîmes where the 72 KM race will start at 8:30 am.

+Free bag check: you can bring your bag* to the start in Nîmes to remain dressed before the start. Bag drop-off will be at the main entrance of Jardins de la Fontaine. You will find your bag as soon as you cross the finish line in Uzès. Note that the bag check is also open to 72 km participants who do not take the bus shuttle.

Attention: there will be no return shuttle from Uzès to Nîmes after the race. It is therefore recommended to park in Uzès and take the one-way shuttle to the Nîmes start on the morning

▶️ FOR THE 44 KM (RUN)
– shuttle Pont du Gard> Nîmes (to get to the start) / €9

The shuttle for the 44 KM will depart from the right bank car park of the Pont du Gard site (Remoulins side). The shuttle will leave on Saturday morning between 7:30 am and 7:45 am, heading towards the Jardins de la Fontaine in Nîmes where the 44 KM race will start at 9:30 am.

+Free bag check: You can bring your bag* to the start in Nîmes to stay dressed before the start. The bag drop-off will be in front of the main entrance of the Jardins de la Fontaine. You will find your bag as soon as you cross the finish line on the right bank of the Pont du Gard site. Note that the bag drop-off is also open to participants of the 44 km who do not take the bus shuttle.

or shuttle Uzès> Nîmes (to get to the start) / €9

Participants in the 44 KM race who wish to go directly to the start in Nîmes from Uzès are allowed to take the bus shuttle provided for the 72 KM runners on Saturday morning. The only constraint is that you will have to wake up a little earlier 😉 Shuttles leave on Saturday morning between 6:30 am and 6:45 am from the Parking du Refuge (Arènes) in Uzès, heading towards the Jardins de la Fontaine in Nîmes where the 44 KM race will start at 9:30 am. You can stay covered until the last minute, with a bag drop-off specifically provided for 44 KM participants in Nîmes.

Note: There will be no shuttle from Pont du Gard to Nîmes after the race. It is therefore advisable to park at Pont du Gard and take the shuttle to get to the start in Nîmes on the morning of the race.

▶️ FOR THE 27 KM NORDIC WALK
– shuttle Uzès > Pont du Gard (to get to the start) / 5€

The shuttles for the 27 KM Nordic Walk will depart from the Refuge car park (Arènes) in Uzès, a few hundred meters from the finish line. Shuttles depart on Saturday morning between 10:45 and 11:00, heading to the Pont du Gard site where you will start at 13:00.

+Free bag check:You can bring your bag* to the start at Pont du Gard to stay dressed before the race. The baggage check will be located at the right bank bus parking lot (Remoulins side). You will find your bag as soon as you cross the finish line in Uzès. Note that baggage check is also available to participants of the 27 KM Nordic Walk who do not take the shuttle bus.

– shuttle Uzès > Pont du Gard (return) / 5€

Return shuttles to Pont du Gard are also available, with continuous shuttle service running on Saturday from 17:00 to 22:30. Shuttles depart from the Refuge car park (Arènes) in Uzès and arrive at the right bank bus parking lot at the Pont du Gard site.

▶️ FOR THE 27 KM RUN
shuttle Uzès > Pont du Gard (to get to the start) / 5€

The shuttle departure for the 27 km run will be from the Parking du Refuge (Arènes) in Uzès, a few hundred meters from the finish line. Shuttles depart on Saturday morning between 12:15 pm and 12:30 pm, heading to the Pont du Gard site where you will start at 2:30 pm.

+Free bag check: You can bring your bag* to the starting point at Pont du Gard to remain dressed before starting the race. The baggage drop-off will take place at the right bank bus parking lot (Remoulins side). You will find your bag as soon as you cross the finish line in Uzès. Note that baggage storage is also available to 27 km run participants who do not take the bus shuttle.

– shuttle Uzès > Pont du Gard (return) at 5€

Return shuttles to Pont du Gard are also available with continuous shuttle service rotation on Saturday from 5:00 pm to 10:30 pm. Shuttles depart from the Parking du Refuge (Arènes) in Uzès and arrive at the right bank bus parking lot at the Pont du Gard site.

*Maximum size for airplane carry-on luggage is 55 x 35 x 25 cm.

NOTE: Payment for shuttles can only be made on the participant’s online registration account (there is no possibility to subscribe on site on race day). Bus shuttle reservations can be made at the time of registration or by returning to the online registration account later, subject to availability.

 

If you are a company or an association, you can benefit from a registration space and dedicated services to facilitate the management of your registrations, with group payment for all of your participants once they are registered.

ASSOCIATIONS REGISTRATION PACKAGE – la Veni Vici 2023

It’s simple: you benefit from the same services as companies (including participation in the Enterprise Challenge), and you only have to pay for the registration. Condition to benefit from this service: be a 1901 law association.
