From medieval Uzès to Roman Nîmes, crossing the Pont du Gard, come and travel back through history with your running shoes on on Saturday, November 7, 2026, by following one of the most remarkable structures in the world inherited from ancient builders: the Nîmes aqueduct, built 2,000 years ago. Unique and magical.

More than just a sport, la VENI VICI will make you discover a major tourist route in France, which is the pride of all Gardois: UZÈS – LE PONT DU GARD – NÎMES, linked by the most famous Roman aqueduct in the world. The Pont du Gard, a masterpiece of ancient architecture, will be the central point of the event (bib pickup, family activities, bus shuttle departure and return point).

Trace history along the water

▶️ Rich in history and also a true sporting challenge, VENI VICI offers 6 distances (87 km run / 52 km run / 33 km run / 33 km Nordic walking race / 18 km run / 16 km hike) across three sporting experiences: running, timed Nordic walking and hiking.

▶️ Starting from the beautiful medieval town of Uzès or from the Pont du Gard (depending on the chosen format), travel back in time through the fragrant garrigue, pass through charming villages of the Gard region, and marvel at Roman engineering, until the grand finale: the finish in the majestic Jardins de la Fontaine in Nîmes.
