Bib pickup: Friday, November 6th, 2026 from 9:00am to 9:00pm at the Pont du Gard site (left bank), and on race day from 6:00am

Finish: Pont du Gard – right bank, Vers-Pont-du-Gard (30)

Paid shuttle bus (€6): Departure from the Pont du Gard (left bank) on the morning of the race to take you to the start in Uzès

Bag drop: free for all participants

Refreshment stations: 2 aid stations on the race + 1 full refreshments at the finish line

Cut-off times : 3 cut-off times (eliminatory) will be implemented based on an average speed of 5.4 km/h (see details here)

The 33 km race is the perfect compromise for those who are not quite ready yet to tackle the full VENI VICI challenge (87 km) or the 52 km between the Pont du Gard and Nîmes. You’ll start on Saturday in the late morning at the foot of the magnificent Duchy of Uzès, under the (usually) generous southern sun, following the reverse direction of last year’s course.

You’ll immediately be immersed in the lush green surroundings of the Eure Valley, where the Roman aqueduct supplying Nîmes once began. Then you’ll pass through the charming villages of Saint-Maximin and Argilliers, crossing hills filled with the scents of thyme and rosemary.

Look down, then lift your head as you approach the village of Vers-Pont-du-Gard: you’ll have the chance to run through the aqueduct’s channel and alongside the quarries where the stones used to build the Pont du Gard were extracted (and which are still visible today). Quite something!

Then comes a true celebration of Roman heritage, with a succession of aqueduct arch remains, leading to the final crossing of the majestic Pont du Gard, where the finish line awaits at its foot. Two thousand years of history await you and a triumphant smile, young centurion! 🏛️

We won’t hold it against them, as the routes drawn in our beautiful Gard scrubland have left many participants bewildered. ]
